I first learned about The 410 Bridge in 2008 when I was a young high school student in a rural village called Ngaamba in eastern Kenya. At the time, my community had already begun partnering with 410 Bridge (from 2007 to 2019), but I didn’t fully understand how this partnership started. What I did see was the transformation.New opportunities were emerging, families were thriving, and hope was growing all around me. I was curious, but as a teenager, I simply attributed the changes to the work of God—which I still believe to this day. Deep down, I dreamed of one day joining 410 Bridge and helping bring this kind of change to others. That dream came true in 2016, when I joined the team as a Community Coordinator in Ngaamba.

We are excited to announce that our latest field report is now live — a brand-new snapshot of how, together, we are multiplying hope in communities around the world.In this report you’ll find compelling stories and real-life data from our work in places like Guatemala, Kenya, Indonesia and beyond. For example: in the village of Villa Linda, Guatemala, a young boy named Keiver is participating in our “Foundations for Farming” program, caring for a calf and fish and building his savings — proof that hope can grow when given roots.

Families in Chipila and San Jose, Guatemala have been waiting far too long for basic medical care. Two new health clinics are ready, but without the right equipment, nurses can’t serve families—and that’s where you come in.Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we’re already making progress. Every gift brings us closer to equipping these clinics and providing vital care to hundreds of families.We’ve designed a two-step approach to make the biggest impact possible:

At 410 Bridge, our goal is simple: empower communities to thrive independently. Ndibai is a remarkable example of this vision in action. As this community prepares to graduate next year, we’re excited to share the incredible progress they’ve made—and how your support has played a part in their journey.Clean, Affordable Water for AllThe water project in Ndibai, completed in 2016, has been a lifeline for the community. With over 128 households—about 80% of the population—now able to access clean and safe water within a 30-minute round trip, the impact is clear.Recently, when rising electricity costs threatened the sustainability of the water project, the Water Management Committee stepped in. Using savings from water sales and mobilizing additional funds from community members, they installed a solar-powered water pumping system with some support from 410 Bridge.

Severe flooding recently swept through remote farming communities along the Rio Grande de Matagalpa in Nicaragua. Torrential rains destroyed crops, killed livestock, and left families facing immediate food shortages and long-term economic hardship.For families who already work tirelessly just to provide the basics, these floods are devastating. Homes and fields that once sustained families now lie in ruin, and the challenge of rebuilding can feel overwhelming.

In the village of Villa Linda, Guatemala, the future isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you grow every day, with small hands and big decisions. That’s where Keiver and Camelia live, each carrying clear dreams and a savings book that’s already taking them far.For them, saving isn’t just a habit. It’s an act of faith. Every coin they set aside is a seed—growing slowly, with care, patience, and purpose—to transform their lives.

High in the mountains of Unión Cantinil, Guatemala, lie the villages of Las Lomas, La Nueva Independencia, and El Triunfo. Here, families have long lived on the edge of survival—sometimes with just enough, often with less.In these communities, more than half of the population lives in poverty. One in six families cannot even afford the minimum cost of food. Jobs are scarce. Women are often left behind. And perhaps most painful of all, many people have come to believe that their situation is permanent. That they were born to survive, not to thrive.But hopelessness is not the end of the story.

In Ulu, a semi-arid community where farming and livestock rearing are often challenged by unpredictable rainfall, residents are finding new ways to thrive. Recently, 61 community members participated in a week-long specialized training program focused on detergent and soap making, pastry baking, and beadwork. These participants were previous beneficiaries of Business Skills Training (BST) and Foundations for Farming (F4F), building on skills they had already learned.

The Ulu community faces unique challenges. Located in a semi-arid region, rainfall is unreliable, making agriculture difficult. Currently, three private boreholes provide water to nearly 50% of households, but families face additional struggles from rainwater runoff from the ground and rooftops—water that could otherwise be used to support farming and daily needs.When community leaders approached us, they asked for help in finding a solution to harness this runoff to benefit homes and small farms, especially during drought.

The school bell rings in Mutirithia, Kenya, but not every child is ready to learn. Many walk long distances, arrive thirsty, and face classrooms without safe water. Illness, missed classes, and exhaustion are daily obstacles that threaten their ability to focus, grow, and thrive.This isn’t just about water—it’s about giving children the opportunity to succeed.

Kennedy’s journey shows the lasting impact of sponsorship. Growing up in a small Kenyan village, he faced obstacles many of us could barely imagine: long walks to school, limited access to books, and a family barely able to afford daily meals. But through the 410 Bridge child sponsorship program, Kennedy received tuition, school supplies, uniforms, and, perhaps most importantly, consistent encouragement and mentorship. “With sponsorship, I realized I could dream bigger,” Kennedy says. “I could see a future for myself beyond my village.”

For most children, the first day of school means sharpened pencils, new shoes, and a nervous smile. But for a child living in extreme poverty, it can mean something far greater — the start of a journey that transforms their life forever. Through the 410 Bridge child sponsorship program, children like Mary and Kennedy are taking those first steps — into classrooms, into faith, and into a future they never dreamed possible. These are true stories from sponsored children whose lives have been changed.

School is back in session here in the U.S., but at 410 Bridge, the work—and the opportunity to serve—never slows down. Teams are regularly traveling to the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Kenya, stepping into a story that’s been unfolding for years and will continue long after their return home. From the moment a team lands, something begins to shift. Plans are in place, logistics are handled, and our field staff are ready to care for every detail so teams can focus on building relationships and serving alongside the community. As Brent from Grace Family Church shared, “You can trust 410 will take care of everything on the ground—safe, confident, taken care of.”

In the heart of Vista Hermosa, surrounded by mountains and hope, there is a community that refuses to give up. The community of Altamira has faced real challenges—most notably, a school kitchen that was deteriorated and lacked the proper conditions to prepare meals for children. It was a space that didn’t reflect the care these children deserve. But today, something powerful has begun to change.Today, we’re not just celebrating a renovated kitchen. We’re celebrating a transformation built with love, effort, and unity. This community dreamed of a dignified space for their children, and through prayer, hard work, and collaboration, that dream became a reality.

At just 28 years old, Ingri is already a powerful force for change in her community of Nueva Independencia. A wife, a mother, and a leader, she carries within her a passion for service that runs deep—one she inherited from her parents, Doña Florinda and Don Eleuterio, both respected members of the 410 Bridge Leadership Council.

Two years ago, in a small community in Guatemala, a group of women and two gentlemen took a bold step of faith. They didn’t have a business plan or financial background. What they had was a shared desire—for something different, something better. They wanted to grow. They wanted to believe. And most of all, they wanted to act on their faith.That’s how Los Jazmines was born.At first, it was a simple savings group, supported by 410 Bridge. A place where members could learn to manage money and build a safety net. But it didn’t stay simple for long. It quickly transformed into something much deeper—a place of prayer, discipleship, encouragement, and miracles.

In the remote villages along the rivers of Nicaragua, life is changing—and not for the better.Recent floods have devastated entire communities, displacing families, destroying food supplies, and washing away crops that were meant to sustain them for months to come. The villages of Makantaka, Makantakita, Company Crick, Dakban, Guadalupe, Kansas City, Betania, Angloamerica, and La Esperanza have been hit especially hard. Over 80 families in each village are now facing an uncertain future.This isn’t the first time we’ve seen flooding in this region—but those on the ground are calling this situation uniquely devastating.Homes are unlivable. Crops are gone. Hunger is growing.

When Edy Josué Ruiz arrived at the rehabilitation center in 2018, his life was marked by loneliness and the pain of his father’s absence. He didn’t speak, didn’t play, and found refuge in silence. But God had a plan for him.The rehabilitation center provided the support he needed through speech therapy, motor skills development, and psychological counseling. However, it was the love and faith he encountered there that truly transformed his heart. Thanks to the therapists and their dedication, Edy began to open up—he learned to speak, to smile, and most importantly, to find peace through his faith in Jesus.Community leaders also played a key role in Edy and his mother’s journey. Through their constant support, prayers, and encouragement, they offered spiritual and emotional strength. The community became a fundamental pillar in his transformation.
