The head of the Leadership Council of El Pajal took me to see a local evangelical church that had suffered severe damage during a storm. The building is massive—two stories tall, beautiful in both structure and spirit—but it had endured significant weather damage that left the floors, walls, and electrical systems in need of repair.As I walked through the church, I was in awe. Not only because of the space itself, but because of the story behind its restoration. The Leadership Council shared that the community didn’t wait for outside help. Instead, they came together, raised their own funds, and took ownership of repairing their church. Every marble slab, every repaired wall, and every newly wired light stands as a testimony to their faith, unity, and resilience.

Thanks to the sponsorship program of 410 Bridge, a boy who lost his parents and faced enormous challenges is now discovering the power of learning and dreaming.When Yowin López was just eight months old, his mother—already ill—held him tenderly in her arms. That moment, full of love, would be the last time he felt her warmth. Yet it marked the beginning of a story defined by faith, family, and opportunity—an opportunity brought to life through sponsorship.Today, at ten years old, Yowin continues to write a story of hope and resilience, made possible because a sponsor believed in him.

In the village of Villa Linda, Guatemala, the future isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you grow every day, with small hands and big decisions. That’s where Keiver and Camelia live, each carrying clear dreams and a savings book that’s already taking them far.For them, saving isn’t just a habit. It’s an act of faith. Every coin they set aside is a seed—growing slowly, with care, patience, and purpose—to transform their lives.

In the vibrant, close-knit community of Rancho Viejo, Guatemala, joy was overflowing as students, teachers, parents, and community leaders came together to celebrate a moment they had long prayed for—the inauguration of new bathrooms at La Cabaña School.This wasn’t just about new facilities. It was a celebration of dignity restored, learning uninterrupted, and a future filled with possibility.

In Guatemala, Christmas is deeply rooted in the Christian faith, with the birth of the Baby Jesus at the heart of the celebration. Guatemalan homes display handcrafted nacimientos (nativity scenes), often with intricate details of local daily life, such as figures of farmers, vendors, and scenes from nature. The festivities begin with the setting up of the nacimiento. 

Exciting progress is underway in Kahuria Community! Recently, 43 trainees graduated from a four-week Business Skills Training (BST) program, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in entrepreneurship. This latest graduating class marks the seventh BST training session in Kahuria, bringing the total number of trained households to over 350 out of 459—a remarkable achievement for this vibrant community.

This month, we celebrated an incredible milestone at Mugaa Primary School—the completion of a brand-new 3-classroom block equipped with 120 lockers. This achievement is a testament to the power of community partnership and shared vision.

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from Kamaku Primary School in Ulu Community! Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners, a brand-new latrine block has been completed, providing much-needed sanitation facilities to young students.

When most of us think about mission trips, we often picture building houses, painting schools, or distributing food to those in need. While these projects may be important, they only scratch the surface of what mission work can really achieve. At 410 Bridge, we believe the true goal of missions goes beyond physical tasks—it’s about building people and investing in lasting relationships.

You may be curious and want to know, "When is a good age to start going on mission trips?" Well, I am glad you asked! Based on my experience, I think the best age to sign up for a mission trip is while you are in high school.

The most difficult part of preparing for a mission trip usually isn't learning a new language or adapting to a different culture. The hardest part is fundraising. This doesn't have to be a scary and unpleasant. Here are five ways to put the fun in fundraising.

I've always asked "Why is Kenya so different?"  "What makes it so special?" Being a part of a Global Missions team, I have had the opportunity to help send teams to Kenya but never experience it myself.  The teams always came back bonded and something was different.

Our partnership with Kiu community started way back in 2009 making it one of the first communities to partner with the 410 Bridge since its inception in Kenya in 2006. At the 410 Bridge, we work through the community leaders who ensure continuity of the community’s development even after graduation. During our partnership journey, we walk alongside indigenous community leaders and church leaders as they mobilize and unify the community to participate in their own development – shifting their perspectives and owning the solutions.

If you haven't yet had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Kenya, allow me to do my best to try to put into words what an incredible life-changing experience that you really need to do at least once in your life. I was recently blessed to travel to Mutirithia, Kenya with an amazing group of 20 other Christian men to serve the families in that community over the course of a week. We prepared for weeks to make sure everyone understood the primary objective of the trip, which was to build upon relationships already formed in the community and to spread the Word to as many people as we could. Allow me to unfold a day-by-day glimpse of what we experienced:
