More Than a Sponsorship
When a child is sponsored, the impact reaches far beyond one student. After more than a decade in Kiu Community, we have seen how child sponsorship becomes a catalyst for healthier schools, stronger families, and more resilient communities.Sponsorship does not stand alone. It fuels long-term change.
Why Our New Kiu Case Study Matters
Seeing real, long-term transformation is the heart of why we do community development. It’s one thing to launch programs or build infrastructure, but it’s entirely another to watch a community continue to grow and thrive on its own after we step back. That’s why we now have a new Kiu case study — to show what sustainable, community-led development looks like when it really works.
Hope That Multiplies: A Christmas Season of Lasting Change
This Christmas season, we’re celebrating a simple truth. When God plants hope, it doesn’t remain small. It grows, it strengthens, and it multiplies. Through your generosity, that hope is taking root in every country we serve. Here are some beautiful stories of how hope is multiplying through sponsorship, clean water projects, church training, farming programs, and health initiatives. These stories reflect the heart of our mission and the impact of your partnership.
Behind the Scenes with 410 Bridge in Kenya
I first learned about The 410 Bridge in 2008 when I was a young high school student in a rural village called Ngaamba in eastern Kenya. At the time, my community had already begun partnering with 410 Bridge (from 2007 to 2019), but I didn’t fully understand how this partnership started. What I did see was the transformation.New opportunities were emerging, families were thriving, and hope was growing all around me. I was curious, but as a teenager, I simply attributed the changes to the work of God—which I still believe to this day. Deep down, I dreamed of one day joining 410 Bridge and helping bring this kind of change to others. That dream came true in 2016, when I joined the team as a Community Coordinator in Ngaamba.
Brand-New Field Report: A Fresh Look at What Your Generosity Is Making Possible
We are excited to announce that our latest field report is now live — a brand-new snapshot of how, together, we are multiplying hope in communities around the world. In this report you’ll find compelling stories and real-life data from our work in places like Guatemala, Kenya, Indonesia and beyond. For example: in the village of Villa Linda, Guatemala, a young boy named Keiver is participating in our “Foundations for Farming” program, caring for a calf and fish and building his savings — proof that hope can grow when given roots.
Why Teams Keep Crossing the Bridge
School is back in session here in the U.S., but at 410 Bridge, the work—and the opportunity to serve—never slows down. Teams are regularly traveling to the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Kenya, stepping into a story that’s been unfolding for years and will continue long after their return home. From the moment a team lands, something begins to shift. Plans are in place, logistics are handled, and our field staff are ready to care for every detail so teams can focus on building relationships and serving alongside the community. As Brent from Grace Family Church shared, “You can trust 410 will take care of everything on the ground—safe, confident, taken care of.”
