High in the mountains of Unión Cantinil, Guatemala, lie the villages of Las Lomas, La Nueva Independencia, and El Triunfo. Here, families have long lived on the edge of survival—sometimes with just enough, often with less.In these communities, more than half of the population lives in poverty. One in six families cannot even afford the minimum cost of food. Jobs are scarce. Women are often left behind. And perhaps most painful of all, many people have come to believe that their situation is permanent. That they were born to survive, not to thrive.But hopelessness is not the end of the story.

Every year on April 10th, we celebrate 410 Day—a day where we come together to support communities in need and fuel sustainable, Christ-centered transformation. This year, 410 Day is more important than ever because we’re stepping into a brand-new country: the Dominican Republic.The challenges in these communities are urgent, and we need your help to bring real change.
