Community Spotlight Wednesday Cercady, Haiti

July was a quiet month in Cercady. The community has devoted themselves to The 410 Bridge Sponsorship Program; taking profile pictures and getting as many kids as possible registered for sponsorship.

The churches are continuing to thrive; they are holding services every Sunday and events afterwards for evangelism and sharing in the Word. The youth took a trip to the Citadel in the northern part of Haiti. The Citadel is a large, military fortress built on a mountainside overlooking Haiti. It was built in 1805 and has become a historical icon and tourist attraction.

The community is asking for prayers for their crops; they are unsure how they will prosper and grow from the lack of rain this year. Please continue to keep Cercady in your prayers. Pray for the community’s health and protection. Thank you to all who have invested and continue to pray for the people of Cercady!
