We believe the students in our communities are going bring change, bring solutions, and bring hope to the communities they live in, through their education. Our programs have increased the quality of education in these places, which means test grades are higher and each year more and more students need sponsors to continue their education. We think this is a pretty awesome problem to have, but we need your help. We need 137 more sponsors to get all of the students who tested high enough, into the schools they were accepted to. Will you pray with us, share this post, and sponsor one of these students? Click here: 410sponsor.org/2018secondary ...

A story worth your time from the incredible Lori Woodham // I loved being able to spend time with Rosenie. I met Rosenie in February 2017 in front of the church at Camp Mary. We had a instant connection and she would come to the church every day to play with us. I was able to meet with her mother during this time and pray with her over things going on in her life. On the last day of our trip, she was told that I was going to talk with 410 and complete the paperwork to sponsor Rosenie. She and I cried together. Over this last year I have sent her a letter and she recently replied back. During this trip, I was able to spend maybe 30 minutes with Rosenie and her mom. We took photos, we laughed and Rosenie’s mom shared how “active” Rosenie has become. We hugged and prayed for health.... and for Rosenie to be able to pay attention in class. ❤️ Seeing her mother this year, compared to last year was such a touching moment. Her mother has less wrinkles and more smiles. I could just feel the relief and I know the change being made in their lives through 410. The following day I was able to visit with Rosenie at her school. I sat with her in class while she wrote her “v” in cursive. I talked with her teacher (who was so incredibly sweet and patient) and I was able to speak with the director and discuss how sponsorships are changing the lives of those in Haiti. I didn’t see Rosenie as much this year as I did last year but I found out that her mom was able to move closer to the school so Rosenie and her sister (who is also sponsored) do not have to walk as far daily. This makes me so happy. I’d gladly give up time with her on my trip, knowing she is closer to school and doesn’t have to cross that busy road anymore. As always, it is hard to leave Haiti but I know I will go back as long as God provides.... and I will always have a part of my heart in Haiti. I hope that Rosenie will one day be able to influence others and help her country grow in ways that only God can provide” ...
