Kenya Wins 2025: Transforming Communities

This year, your generosity has helped us achieve remarkable milestones in Kenya, bringing hope, health, and opportunity to communities that have long dreamed of change.

From clean water and thriving classrooms to sustainable livelihoods, the impact of your support is tangible and transformative. Here’s a look at four standout wins from 2025.

1. Mugaa Water Project

In Mugaa, Kenya, a historic milestone has been reached with the groundbreaking of the Mugaa Community Water Project. This isn’t just any water system—designed through a full hydrogeological and engineering survey, it will deliver a reliable, clean, and sustainable supply of water to nearly 1,000 people who previously relied on seasonal rivers and unsafe sources.

With a projected daily demand of 20,000 liters and a strong groundwater yield confirmed through professional testing, this project promises to unlock better health, education, and economic opportunity for the entire community.

Thanks to the generosity of key donors, construction is on track for completion in mid-January, fulfilling Mugaa’s long-awaited dream of lasting access to clean water.

2. Kahuria Classroom Block Constructions

Education in Kahuria received a major boost this year with the completion of two new classroom blocks—one at Kahuria Primary School and one at Mekaro Primary School. Together, these projects added six fully finished classrooms, creating space for more than 545 students to learn in safety and comfort.

Each classroom was completed with durable roofing, proper drainage, water tank bases, electrical work, balustrades for safety, and upgraded blackboards and whiteboards to support modern learning.

These new spaces will reduce overcrowding, attract stronger teaching resources, and empower students to thrive—investing in the bright futures of Kahuria’s children.

3. Living Seed Program

The Living Seed program is bringing tangible hope to families across all seven of our partner communities in Kenya. In 2025 alone, we distributed 482 sheep and goats to 482 households—each animal a seed of income, nutrition, and long-term stability.

In Tumutumu, carefully selected, tagged, and healthy dairy goats were distributed under transparent community leadership, supporting breeding, milk production, and household earnings.

What begins as one animal multiplies into sustainable livelihoods through improved farming practices, local ownership, and shared accountability—transforming livestock into lasting economic opportunity, one family at a time.

4. Tumutumu Graduates

After ten years of partnership with the 410 Bridge, the community of Tumutumu was able to graduate this past November! This is a huge accomplishment for the community and our Kenyan Field Staff. We can’t wait to share more about it – so stay tuned!

Your Support is Changing Lives

These wins in Kenya are more than projects—they are lifelines and new beginnings made possible by your partnership. Clean water flows, classrooms buzz with learning, and families are empowered to create sustainable livelihoods. Every donation, prayer, and act of support plays a role in shaping a future filled with hope.

As we celebrate these 2025 milestones, we invite you to continue walking with us, helping communities like Mugaa, Kahuria, and Tumutumu dream bigger, thrive longer, and reach their full potential.

Together, we are turning vision into reality—one transformative step at a time.

Why Our New Kiu Case Study Matters

Seeing real, long-term transformation is the heart of why we do community development. It’s one thing to launch programs or build infrastructure, but it’s entirely another to watch a community continue to grow and thrive on its own after we step back.

That’s why we now have a new Kiu case study — to show what sustainable, community-led development looks like when it really works.
