Families in Chipila and San Jose, Guatemala have been waiting far too long for basic medical care. Two new health clinics are ready, but without the right equipment, nurses can’t serve families—and that’s where you come in.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we’re already making progress. Every gift brings us closer to equipping these clinics and providing vital care to hundreds of families.

Our Two-Step Plan
We’ve designed a two-step approach to make the biggest impact possible:
Step 1: $5,500 – Immediate Impact
Your gift will provide urgent equipment such as sterile childbirth kits, pediatric nebulizers, and fetal dopplers.
- In Chipila, this means the nurse already in place can begin caring for families immediately.
- In San Jose, these items are a crucial first step toward meeting the Ministry of Health’s requirements for a full-time nurse. While care won’t start immediately, your gift moves the community closer to that goal.

Step 2: $22,500 – Long-Term Care
Once both clinics are fully equipped—with stretchers, a medicine refrigerator, an autoclave chamber, and an otoscope/ophthalmoscope—nurses will be able to provide consistent, high-quality care for every family in both communities.
Why This Matters
- Immediate impact in Chipila: Families can begin receiving care as soon as the first milestone is met.
- Progress in San Jose: The urgent equipment lays the groundwork for Ministry-approved care and long-term community health.
- A lasting difference: Together, these two steps create sustainable health, hope, and opportunity for entire communities.
Every gift—big or small—moves these communities forward. Meeting the $5,500 milestone quickly means immediate impact in Chipila and momentum toward equipping San Jose for the future.
