Shayla Davis serves on our staff as our Administrative Assistant. Shayla has always subscribed to the “life is a journey” mind-set and has actively searched for what exactly it is God has in store for her. In college this meant hiking trails, road trips, and mission trips to Honduras and Serbia. Out of college this meant a number of professions, more than a few apartments (in several states) and a long list of Uhaul trucks receipts. The one consistent that God kept pointing out was how much she enjoyed serving those she worked with through an administrative capacity. While volunteering for A Night For Africa, Shayla knew where God was leading her next step. The 410 Bridge had a position that God had been preparing her for. She doesn’t know exactly where this journey God has her on is going to take eventually her, but she does know that she’s very excited to be connected with the amazing people of Kenya. To be able to serve God by serving others in two different countries is a job worth throwing out the moving boxes for. Currently she lives in Roswell and divides her time between her 2 younger brothers, several local hiking trails and the “classics” section at Barnes and Noble.
