Andrew joined the The 410 Bridge staff serving as a Country representative. Born Silvester Andrew Muirui Guuru, Andrew grew up in Kenya with his father and two siblings. He attended Kenyatta University of Nairobi, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. He also spent time studying Psychology and HIV/AIDS in Nairobi. After graduating, Andrew spent his time working across the continent of Africa. He served as Regional Project Coordinator for Southern African Development Communities. He then served as a National Research Coordinator in Malawi before returning to Kenya to serve as Project Manager for the National AIDS Council Program. He now serves as a 410 Bridge Country Representative, working within the community of Kwabekenya to oversee and support the people in their progress. Andrew spends his free time playing soccer and traveling with is family, wife Catherine and their four children- Ian, Margaret, Lena, and Robinson. We are thrilled to have Andrew on our staff!
