Tommy Campbell
Tommy Campbell joined The 410 Bridge team in November 2010 as the Booking Manager for the Daraja Children’s Choir of Africa. He handles all event bookings and travel logistics for Daraja. He enjoys serving as an ambassador for Daraja and The 410 Bridge as he works with churches, schools, and organizations that are interested in hosting the Daraja Children’s Choir.
Tommy has a deep love and passion for God, His Church, and worldwide missions. He was born in Hong Kong where his parents served as missionaries for 15 years. He grew up in Gadsden, Alabama. He graduated from Toccoa Falls College in 2000 with a degree in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication. From 2000-2003, he served as the Director of Admissions at Toccoa Falls College. From 2003-2010, he served as a Children’s Pastor (K-5th grades) at two churches in Georgia.
Tommy was introduced to The 410 Bridge and the Daraja Children’s Choir at the Catalyst Conference in 2008. He went on his first trip to Kenya with The 410 Bridge in 2009 after attending their “A Night for Africa” fundraiser in October 2008 and being inspired to experience the work of The 410 Bridge firsthand. Tommy and his wife, Katherine, served as volunteer trip leaders on three additional trips to Kenya in 2010.
Tommy married his college sweetheart, Katherine, in 1999. They reside in Bremen, Georgia. He enjoys spending time with his wife and family, watching movies (especially super-hero movies), cheering for the Atlanta Braves and Falcons, reading Ted Dekker books, and listening to music (especially Needtobreathe, Coldplay, and MuteMath).
