Rob and Elisa Allred came to join the Daraja family as tour leaders in April 2011. They have been married for five years. They both attended Trevecca Nazarene University where Rob received a B.A. in Religion and Elisa received a B.S. in Psychology. After graduation, Elisa and Rob were married and spent their first three years of marriage working in youth ministry. It was through those first years of ministry that God began to grow a passion in their hearts for international missions and the orphaned and oppressed.  It was about that same time they had their first experience seeing Daraja in 2008 at a Catalyst conference.  Again, God was at work and this led them to spending the past two years as care takers of orphaned and disadvantaged children both internationally and domestically.

Rob had spent a summer in Kenya when he was in college and fell in love with the people. In April 2011 Rob and Elisa were both excited that they were able to serve in Kenya together. They spent five weeks there getting to know the 2011 Daraja Children’s Choir and Kenyan Daraja leaders. They were able to visit several 410Bridge communities and see how God is using 410 and Daraja to change Kenya.

They are so eager to bring these beautiful children to the churches in America, with hopes that many can experience the message of Joy and Freedom that the children cannot wait to share through Christ centered worship!

Rob and Elisa are amazed at how God has brought them together, uniquely designed them, and prepared them for this next chapter in their lives.

In their spare time they love enjoying the outdoors hiking, camping, and playing. They also have fun traveling to new places, and catching up with family and friends.
