14 miles may not seem that far to be from a healthcare facility.  Of course we have cars and buses and public transport that can cover that distance in a matter of minutes.  Have you ever walked 14 miles?  What about while you were sick, or pregnant about to give birth, or with a broken bone, or horrible diarrhea.  The average lifespan in Kenya is 53 years; in the U.S. people are battling through “Mid-Life Crisis” at 53.  HIV/AIDS, malnutrition, malaria, and a general lack of quality healthcare and health education are killing millions of people; people that have not heard the word of Christ of put their life in his hands.  This must change!
